Today’s comes from coworker Heidi who really loves her mac and cheese. In the interest of fairness, I’m trying to cover all different types of foods and meals, so I was interested and I gotta say, the box looks like a nice slice of Americana. I love macaroni and cheese and this looks like a nice enough rendition of it.
But what’s it really like? Only one way to find out…
Outside of the burned cheese, it’s pretty close. As with every frozen meal ever, there’s way more sauce than advertised. But in this case, who is going to complain about it? I’m all for more cheese. And Heidi says it’s delicious, so really, this one passes the test. To put it more creatively, Heidi has this to say:

That sounds like a recommendation to me! So, if you’re looking for a good frozen mac and cheese, Stouffer’s may be the way to go!

This is my favorite frozen meal, like ever. I get it whenever I stop at the store. Most other frozen Mac & Cheese is watery or just bland. I’d say this is better than boxed or “home made” as well. They really hit it out of the park on this one.
Sam’s Club sells the large size for under $8.00. This is an excellent option if you need a quick “home made” like mac and cheese. For those counting calories one cup is 380 calories and is loaded with fat and sodium.
