Today’s Tasty Lie, like last Friday’s, is from my coworker Christen! It’s also from Lean Cuisine’s ‘Spa Cuisine’ line. Let’s check it out.

I’m digging these Spa Cuisine meals. They looks so light and delicious. This one has lots of veggies and big pieces of grilled chicken with some noodles and a light cream sauce. It looks like there’s next to no sauce in this one which is nice, it helps keep this meal from being too heavy. Let’s look at the finished product.

It doesn’t look as clean on the box, but other than that this meal is pretty right on. Lots of veggies, some nice pieces of grilled chicken and not a ton of sauce. Not much to complain about. What did Christen think?
The Lean Cuisine Grilled Chicken Primavera roped me in with its asparagus. I’m not usually a fan of creamy sauces, but this one wasn’t too creamy/cheesy – it had a nice butter/garlic/cream flavor. The vegetables were delicious – broccoli and asparagus are two of my favorite vegetables. This is a variety of Lean Cuisine’s ‘Spa Cuisine’ line, which means it’s made with whole wheat pasta and no preservatives. I would give this meal 3.5 stars because the sauce wasn’t amazing for me, personally. There were, as usual, just a couple pieces of chicken that I didn’t eat because they were bizarre or creepy. But as a whole, this is a meal I would definitely recommend.
