Today coworker Marissa is breaking the mold. Cause she got takeout and it’s ending up here! It’s something I envisioned for this site…But I don’t really eat out much. Luckily, Marissa saves the day! And she had lunch at a local chain here called Pizza Extreme. This is what Marissa ordered.
A good looking flatbread sandwich with chicken, bacon, and all sorts of goodness. Looks like a decent lunch, right? Well, what did she get?
Now, the first thing you may notice is it’s not on flatbread. It’s fairly revolutionary for a flatbread sandwich to be on a roll. The reason she was given was that they don’t know how to properly bake flatbread. I’m serious, this is the REAL reason she was given. She also says this is not an irregular occurrence. Being a regular customer by convenience, she’s been witness to many shortcomings from this place. They switch out ingredients, are constantly out of things, and…they just don’t know how to cook flatbread right. THEN WHY ARE YOU OFFERING A FLATBREAD SANDWICH?!
There are no words. Once you get past the levels of stupidity it takes to get your food, she says it’s actually pretty good. It all just seems like poor planning and training on their end.
